AFK Spring Show @ Tenri
AFK is having its spring show at the Tenri Cultural Institute on Friday, April 11 2025 at 7 PM. Join us for a lively night of premieres, collabs, and more, featuring:
A new commissioned work by Sofia Ouyang!
Several new musical minigames designed by us!
and multiple works with audience participation!
If you want to participate, feel free to bring your instruments – but there are also ways to participate if you don’t have an instrument!

Fall concert
We’ll be culminating the fall with a big ol’ concert at one of our favorite venues, Klavierhaus! We will be premiering a commissioned work by Kerrith Livengood, a collaborative work with coder and sound artist Brian Ellis, and much more. Audience participation might be a thing!

We will host a workshop for the New York Youth Symphony Composition program in a two-part residency, to be continued in 2025!

We’ll be performing Aidan Gold’s I’m Actually Just Making Stuff Up at a composition department recital at The Juilliard School. For this performance we’ll be joined by Anju Aoto on clarinet.

AFK’s first Game Jam! A game jam is a casual party setting where you can observe and/or try your hand at what we do: bring, create, watch, playtest, and perform ludic pieces with us! Bring your instrument or just come and hang.
